Monica is a proffesional Vocalcoach who with her positive critical approach, helped my daughter to make big steps forward with her singing and her English pronounciation. Florence ended up in the last round by the auditions of the Voice Kids.

 

Sway (F-Factor)

We are "Sway" (Janice, Aicha and Saja) en we have been receiving singing lessons from Monica for 4 years at the Dutch Academy of Performing Arts. She can teach incredibly well and helped us when we were in the Liveshows from the X-factor. Even when Monica was in the Caribbean, she managed to be there for us. Please understand that it was hard but Monica can do it all! We are very happy with her and advise everybody to take her lessons!

Now already 3 years lessons from Monica and she is a very good singer. She can very clearly explain you your options because she will never impose anything on you. She just gives her opinion with her knowledge of EVT, really great. She is indeed very honest, which is a relieve. Some singing teachers will find everything you do fantastic and beautiful just to keep you as a student. Monica tells you what she hears and gives her advice without judging.

Definitely recommended  (and she is also a very nice person so what more could you want? )

I've had about 1.5 year lessons from Monica, after having received lessons at the music school in the 5 years prior from about 5 other teachers. She is very good an accompanying on the piano but more important; she taught me techniques which is of great use to me and which has taken me further. She is totally committed and she expects the same from her students. 

I think this is the reason that she, from all other teachers, has brought me the most.

It is exiting to have Monica as your singing teacher! With clear explanation and all sorts of "tricks" she is taking you in the world of EVT. After I received lessons for years from another teacher, a new world opened up for me: that you can use your voice in so many ways and that you're then able to choose in which song you choose which technique! It is clearly noticeable that Monica truly enjoys lifting you up to a higher level.

Monica is a very motivated teacher and very determent. She won't give up until the student understands what she is trying to explain. Her nice way of playing the piano made the lessons more fun.

I don't know Monica for a long time but she took care that my singingtechnique made huge improvement in a very short time. Besides that she is very competent and a good pianoplager and a nice person. She records the whole lesson and that's ideal because it gives you the possibility to re-live the lesson again and again. Very efficient. Monica is very dedicated and enthusiastic, so she is a very good teacher.
